La gente Otomí por muchas generaciones han tenido esta tradición de hacer manuscripts/libros hecho a mano con papel Amate:: Āmatl:: y de estas generaciones aprendemos cómo escribir historias que curan. How can you create a Book that heals? Transforms the space and hands it encounters.
In this workshop we will write & visually work together investigating encounters of Healing. We will experiment with different ways of evoking language through studying artista Alfonso Garcia Téllez, profound Amate Manuscripts. As well as reading/listening to la poeta Maria Sabina.
We will create a book from Rituals, such as burning copal and sitting together with the intentions you would like to manifest into a book. Bind together un libro from pages of your own mind, spirit & imagination.
